Mythbusters Cast
Adam Savage
Adam is the goof of the show. He's the one who is always getting hurt, whether it's getting his lip sucked into a vacuum cleaner, falling off of a hovercraft, or getting hit in the face with a soda-powered bottle rocket, he always manages to take the bulk of the injuries on the show. He is, however, still an amazing genius. He has all of the brains of a mad scientist while keeping the show light and entertaining as well.
Jamie Hyneman
Jamie is the staunch, scruffy scientist on the show. He's the one typically trying to keep the myths on track and running smoothly. With his classic beret and poofy gotee he's become a role model for young scientists everywhere. Jamie has what seems to be an endless archive of knowledge that he's constantly using on the show. It's amazing what he and Adam can do when given McGyveresque materials.
Kari Byron, Grant Imahara, and Scottie Chapman
Kari and friends began showing up on camera in the third season but have always been a part of the Mythbusters family. These guys do a lot of the grunt work as well as narrate many of the smaller myths such as will vodka cure poison oak? (as it just so happens, none of the Mythbusters were able to contract poison oak, so they had to outsource the rash to one of the cameramen to test the myth)
Buster
Finally we come to Buster, the only Mythbuster without brain function. Buster is a crash test dummy who's been used on more experiments than I can remember. Whether they're setting him on fire in a closed cockpit, dropping him from an elevator, or just plain crushing him with elephants, Buster doesn't fear doing the work that everybody else is too chicken to do.
